Midea Gas Ranges: Withstanding the test of Filipino-style cooking

Whenever Filipinos are preparing for a big celebration, whether it is for birthdays, fiestas or family reunions, the kitchen sure gets so busy with all the cooking that needs to be done. All hands are on deck as all available chopping boards are brought out and batches of ingredients go through knives before getting them in the pots. While some ingredients are boiled or steamed before they are combined with the other ingredients to complete the dish, there are some that gets the heat treatment by frying, grilling, or roasting. This is how Filipinos do their feasts as one big community or one big family, helping each other, and then finally bonding over the dishes that they labored for.

A lot of kitchen appliances get battered every time there is a big feast coming up, especially the gas stoves and ranges, because they catch all the mess from pots dripping with sauces that usually get caked on the surfaces. This could rust the body or some other parts of the stove and eventually affect its performance and eventually cause it to become unusable. The world’s leading manufacturer of consumer appliances, Midea understands the nature of how serious Filipinos are when it comes to cooking meals for their feasts. The varied culinary influences the country got from the Chinese, Malay, Spanish and other contemporary cuisines has kept the Filipinos’ passion for cooking burning bright, as some age-old traditions are being passed down, rediscovered, and reinvented by the younger generation.

Younger families who trace their roots from far-flung provinces are bringing in their family’s tradition to their very own homes, where there might be not enough open space for a fire pit for roasting and grilling, or those big and heavy gas ranges that could fire up a big wok and take in enough volume of food enough for a good portion of the family clan or barangay. Luckily, these young generations of families could still continue to enjoy and pass on further their family’s great recipes with Midea’s newest lineup of gas ranges that are specially designed to surprisingly withstand the test of Filipino cooking. They have three models, two of which has an oven volume of 58L, while the other has a bigger one with 65L, each of which could accommodate 4 pans and pots cooking simultaneously. These sizes are more than enough to take in big batches of liempo or fish to grill, or a big slab of pork belly, rolled into a porchetta stuffed with tanglad and other ingredients that makes a lechon flavorful.

The 65L model has its own thermostat, which makes it easier for any home chef to control the temperature in the oven and serve only the best home-cooked Pinoy favorites. It could even function as a rotisserie, so that it could cook any kind of meat evenly and perfectly. And with its tempered glass lid, monitoring your culinary specialty with the gas range door closed is a breeze. While all of the models are using SBT burners to make every cooking experience safe, the 65L model even has a flame failure device to keep gas from building up within the appliance. These features do not only assure the safety of everyone and getting every family member involved and to bond in the kitchen, they also enable  Midea’s gas ranges to be handed down to the next generation.

Cooking in large volumes and very frequently could lead to a burnout, with gas tanks running out of fumes to keep you going. One of the 58L models has a hot plate where it uses electricity to heat up the pans and allows you to cook. This could be helpful in keeping the whole kitchen running, even if it is just one stove cooking and everyone is taking a quick break to wait for an LPG refill or replenishment. After everything is done and everyone in the family, friends, or guests are satisfied with the feast, cleaning up the Midea’s gas ranges is absolutely friendly because its body is made out of tough stainless steel.

Midea is also confident in giving their customers a 2-year warranty on parts and labor along with a 5-year warranty on burners. This could only mean that Midea’s lineup of gas ranges are there to stay in the kitchen for a very long time, dealing with more hard core cooking, Filipino-style for the years to come. With that much time, another younger generation of family members will be ready to take on the family tradition and hopefully pass on the cooking torch as well.

Christmas feast tips by Midea’s Brand Ambassadors

While people are completing their Christmas list of things to buy for their loved ones and friends, shopping for the very much awaited Christmas feast is also finding its way to the urgent to-do list this season. Most families would always go for the staple food items during celebrations, like spaghetti or pansit, fruit salad or graham cake, and many more. Specialties like the Christmas ham will always be a hit this season, but these families would always show off their specialty dishes, especially when they have guests coming over, or they need to bring them for potluck.

Celebrity Chef Couple and Midea brand ambassadors, Rob and Sunshine Pengson are also excited for their Christmas feast at home. As people who dedicated their life in the culinary arts, they share some tips that could help people who are stressing out on planning for their feasts even before they start preparing them. “I believe that one of the most common mistakes that most people do in preparing for their Noche Buena is shopping without a menu in their mind,” Chef Rob says. “Always take time to sit down and plan out your menu in advance then make a corresponding list for it. This will help save time and money.”

“When done shopping for groceries, it is always a challenge to keep your ingredients fresh,” Chef Sunshine shares. “I like to portion everything as soon as I get home, so that they are kept in their own containers and can be prepared quickly.” When asked what their favorite dish is during Christmas, they shared that they always opt for what is traditional. “We like to stick to tried and tested classics, such as, baked ham, lechon, bibingka, puto bumbong, and the like.” They also pointed out that lechon should not be missed for the Christmas feast.

If people wanted to try something new for their Christmas feast the Chefs suggested that they should try a grilled ensaymada paired with spiced hot chocolate made in a Midea Safety Kettle.  It is called “safety kettle” because it responds to some of the risk of having an electric kettle at home. Midea’s Safety Kettle has a Sure-safe Double Wall Technology which keeps the exterior safe to touch while keeping the water warm for a longer period of time.  The Midea Safety Kettle could boil water two times faster compare to an electric stove top kettle and it is durable with high-quality stainless steel parts.

Preparing for a Christmas feast can be tedious and it somehow takes away the fun in having some guests at home because of all the exhaustion from cooking. “Get some outside help,” Chef Rob says. Don’t try to do everything yourself. This will leave you time for de-stressing, relaxing, and spending more time with your loved ones, which is what the holidays are all about.” And with the help of Midea’s lineup of kitchen appliances, such as their induction cooker, multi-purpose cooker, and microwave ovens, cooking a Christmas feast will be very easy and healthy at the same time.

People just need to make sure that they have more than enough leftovers, because the best compliment that anyone could give after the Christmas feast is, “Can I take home some leftovers?”

A new perspective in laundry— Front Load Washing by Midea

Most Filipinos have gotten used to doing their laundry with a top load washing machine and rarely do they get a chance to try front load washing. While top load and front load washing machines do not have much of a difference in terms of performing well in doing the laundry, the difference rests on the added benefits that a front load washing machine may give to its consumers. It may cost a bit more than the conventional top load washing machines, but it makes up for it with the savings it gives on water and electricity.

Midea, the world’s largest manufacturer of consumer appliances, has a lineup of front load washing machines that Filipino families may enjoy having into their homes. These home friendly solutions offered by Midea are easy to use and consume just the right amount of water in every wash, rinse, and dry cycle, much like Midea’s Front Load Washer. It could have as much as 70% water savings on a complete cycle by using its Daily Wear setting. It only consumes 43L of water which is equivalent to Php 1. With the same setting, it only consumes 1278kWh of electrical consumption which is equivalent to just Php 2 and it ensures less fabric deterioration and damage.

The Front Load Washer could be paired with the Front Load Dryer and with its space saving feature, its surface can be used as a counter top. The dryer will come very convenient during rainy days because there is no need for sunshine and a clothesline to dry the clothes. It also makes it very friendly to those who are living in condominiums and ensures that clothes will always smell fresh. It could dry clothes in as fast as 40 minutes and consumers will only spend Php 10 in electrical consumption.

Midea’s iAdd Washing Machine would probably be the most user friendly front load washers in the lineup because of its top-of-the-line features that make doing laundry easier and worry-free. Its main feature is the iAdd Auto-Dosing Technology, the first of its kind here in the Philippines, which has an intelligent weighing system that regulates the amount of detergent and fabric softener depending on the weight of the laundry. This takes away the stress from monitoring whether there is too much or too little detergent and fabric softener while washing.

iAdd Washing Machine’s IntelliClean feature has 208 washing solutions for better cleaning, without having to worry about the setting of the cycle. Its Smart Save Inverter motor on the other hand reduces electrical consumption of up to 62% for a quick wash cycle. It also has an Auto Dryer Sensor that runs the ideal drying setting for the clothes, saving time, electricity, and saving clothes from over drying and shrinking.

With Midea’s lineup of Front Load Washers along with its features that are definitely friendly on  clothes, easy to use, and time and money-saving on every wash, Filipinos will not have to worry about their laundry and they will have fresh clothes to wear every time.

Midea brings cooked meals made even healthier

Dining out on breaks has been a usual thing for most people, especially to those who haven’t got enough time to prepare their food in the morning. Kids get their meals in the school canteen from their allowance money, while young adults like college students and working professionals get to choose their next meal from their favorite eatery, fast food, or a newly opened restaurant that fancies their curiosity.

Home-cooked meals though are making a comeback especially to those who would want to save more from buying their meals from the cheapest eatery to the fanciest casual dining place. It is also widely believed that bringing in home-cooked meals for lunch is healthier because every ingredient is handpicked.  It has also become popular to health buffs because they can plan out their own diet program and count the calories, while getting specific nutrients that they need.

Midea, the world’s leading consumer appliances manufacturer, offers a solution in creating home-cooked meals with their lineup of cookers that make preparing home-cooked dishes easy and turn the freshest ingredients into not just delicious meals, but healthier as well. Their home solutions have always been surprisingly friendly in more ways than one. They are known for their ease of use, finishing every chore faster than usual, which gives people more time for themselves and the whole family. Midea products are also easy on the pocket and its features make it safe around kids. One of Midea’s brand ambassadors and an avid fan of Midea’s Induction Cooker, Chef Rob Pengson shares that “Midea’s Induction Cooker is top level technology which is great for cooking and it is very efficient because it doesn’t waste energy.”

Some people might think that induction cookers would be very costly on the electric bill, but unlike the conventional electric cooker, Midea’s Induction Cookers could actually give a lot of savings even as compared to buying gas tanks regularly. And because it heats faster, it saves 37% of the electric consumption against the conventional electric stove. This quick cooking feature locks in the nutrients in the food which make every home-cooked meal healthier for everyone in the family.

It has safety features like flameless heating, auto safety shut-off function and auto cooling that are very relevant especially if there are kids in the house. Pre-programmed functions make it user friendly, even for first-time users as well.

Midea has a very versatile Digital Multi-Cooker that not only cooks the perfect rice with its Thermal Circulation Technology that ensures even heating in the cooking pot, but it could also create other dishes with its 8 pre-programmed functions that make preparing home-cooked meals fast and easy. It has the Smart Fuzzy Logic Control Technology which makes automatic adjustments to the cooking time and temperature— without having to worry about it while everyone is preparing for the day ahead. These time friendly features make every household free from all the stress in the kitchen. And it only costs Php 5 of electric consumption to cook the perfect rice, while the same quick cooking feature locks all the nutrients in the food.

To make sure that everyone gets all the nutrients needed from every home-cooked meal, Chefs Rob and Sunshine Pengson suggest that everyone should be diligent enough immediately consume most of the perishable ingredients. “We tend not to overstock and just buy what we’ll need for few days or a week. It involves more trips to the grocery but it ensures that you’re buying ingredients at the height of their freshness.”

The Chefs added that people should always go for the freshest ingredients and always check the colors and firmness of every ingredient. Smelling though is the best way to tell if an ingredient is still fit for cooking. This ensures that every meal prepared with Midea’s line-up of cookers will have better flavor and will always be rich in nutrients. This is very important for both Chefs Rob and Sunshine, especially now that they have a toddler at home, who needs all the nutrients for him to grow strong.

“My son loves spaghetti, so sometimes I try to add some vegetables, like carrots and mushrooms, in there,” Chef Rob shares. “We explain to him how fruits and vegetables will make him big and strong, so he will be more open to eating them,” Chef Sunshine adds. The whole family enjoys eating pasta like their son, because it can also produce a great dish just by using some leftover food. And having these dishes cooked with Midea’s Induction Cooker or Digital Multi-Cooker, every family can enjoy not only the most delicious and healthy home-cooked meals, but also the time they spend together at the dining table.

Warm up during these cold weather months

Water from the tap gets colder as the cold weather of the “ber-months” start to close in. While most people are used to hitting the showers with cold water raining on them— some of them want it that way because it finishes the job of waking them up from drowsiness— there are some who just cannot handle the sharp chill on their skin. One of them are kids who need to wake up early for school. It seems to take forever to pull them out from their slumber in these cold months and they dread the cold water from the shower, making their mornings far less enjoyable— adversely affecting their mood.

As an old-school practice, it takes extra effort for those who wake up very early morning just to manually heat up water in the kitchen, or possibly worse, by using submersible water heater heads in their buckets, which puts users at risk of getting accidentally electrocuted. It takes extra time in mixing heated water with tap just to get the right comfortable temperature. Others may have their own water heater installed in their showers, but the risk of getting scalded is still a problem.

Midea, the world’s leading consumer appliances manufacturer, responds to these challenges with an array of water heaters that can suit everybody’s needs and budget. Their line-up of water heaters has the Quick Warm Heating Element that instantly heats water at a preferred temperature that gives instant comfort in seconds. This allows its users not to worry much about time, especially those who are always in a hurry in the morning to beat the rush hour.

All of Midea’s water heaters have Safety Sensors that ensure not only the comfort in taking a shower but also the safety in their use. It guarantees no overheating so that customers may enjoy their warm showers just the way they want them longer.   These sensors also take care of keeping water temperature in check, so that scalding hot water will not come out of the shower. It also has a built-in anti-shock device to keep everyone safe from harm.

While Midea offers different models of water heaters that may cater to people with a tight grip on their budget, they will also definitely enjoy its affordability not just on the price tag but also in its use. It only heats the water needed for a shower and for as low as Php 3.00, everyone can enjoy this tag on the electric bill for 10 minutes of warm soothing water trickling down the skin— more than enough time to soak, soap, and scrub then out to take on the day ahead.

A warm shower from Midea could also be enjoyed after having a tough day at work and coming home from the heavy traffic on the road. A soothing bath could take away a day’s worth of stress by loosening up muscles that are tight from all the work it had. This could also refresh and clear the mind so parents who work hard after a long day could definitely enjoy some quality time with their kids before bed time.

As the cold months come close, Midea offers warmth through its innovative products featuring home solutions that could make home life easier and more harmonious. Midea’s water heaters reflect the kind of warmth it has for the family and that soothing feeling of coming home to the people that matter the most.

Make Your Laundry Day A Family Day

Before, it usually takes a lot of time to do the laundry from scrubbing off all the dirt and stains, to rinsing off the laundry soap, and hanging every piece of fabric out in the sun to dry. Now, many people enjoy the ease of using washing machines that does everything from scrubbing, rinsing, and even drying the clothes. Though it seems that many people are having more time for themselves with the help of technology, this saved time is somehow spent on more chores than with some quality moments with the family.
One way of using saved time for family is to teach children some simple tasks at home. It may be a bit challenging for most kids but being trained at an early age helps them develop a basic skillset and positive attitude, like being independent and responsible, that may help them in the future. With a bit of guidance from the parents, kids will not only get to understand the importance of doing chores but also have fun learning new and meaningful things at home with the whole family.
Parents may start teaching their kids the basics in laundry, like separating all the white fabrics from the colored ones. It is a suitable and easy task for kids, but making them understand that mixing colored fabrics with the white ones could cause stains, might just get their attention.
Letting kids wash their favorite clothes, on the other hand, may also help in convincing them to do some laundry, because it may trigger a feeling of responsibility when it comes to their favorites. Rewards after finishing the laundry may also help, especially in making the kids feel accomplished with the work they have done.
Teaching kids to do their laundry will be easier with one of the world’s largest major appliances producer, Midea. The brand has been working on innovative products with very distinct features that bring convenience in new ways.  A wash and dry cycle only costs no more than one peso, because of its Dual Cleaning Motion that lets Midea clean clothes more thoroughly without the messy tangles.
So, while Midea is saving the family some time and money doing all the tough work on the chores, the family can enjoy more time to do something else. Parents could help their kids with their art projects while school’s out and waiting for the laundry to finish. If there isn’t much to do on a lazy day, they could always watch some movies or anything that gets them entertained.
Before, it usually takes time to do most of the chores at home, but with the help of technology, time is given back to families for them to enjoy and bond more.

Tips to keep your cool this summer season, Protect yourself from heat stroke

Summer is here. The cool, windy days are almost over. In a few weeks, everyone will be trading in their sweaters with their swimsuits to herald the days of sun and sand. But while the coming sunny days promise fun moments at the beach, one must never forget to be diligent when it comes to problems common during this season.

With the heat index expected to rise, the public is once again reminded to be diligent against summer problems like heat stroke. The affliction, which becomes common during hot and humid conditions, is considered a serious medical emergency by the Department of Health (DOH).

Heat stroke happens when the body overheats and includes symptoms like headaches, dizziness, intense thirst, and fainting. When left untreated, it can cause damage to the heart, kidneys, and the brain.

Enjoy the moments of feeling sand between your toes while sipping piña coladas under bright umbrellas. While you are at it, practice the tips below to make sure you keep your cool this summer season.

1. Wear appropriate clothing

Wear a wide-brimmed hat and long-sleeved, light-colored clothing when going outside. Other than preventing heat stroke, this will also help protect the skin from sunburn.

2. Schedule your activities

The DOH suggests to schedule heavy-duty tasks during the beginning or end of the day when the temperature is much cooler. The risk of heat stroke particularly increases when doing strenuous activities (e.g. exercising).

3. Keep hydrated

We sweat more during summer so there is a higher need to replenish the fluids in the body. It is suggested to drink more water than coffee, soda, tea, and alcoholic beverages since they are believed to have a diuretic effect, meaning they can trigger the body to expel more liquid (in the form of urine) rather than replenish the body’s water levels.

4. Limit your time outdoors

Limiting the time spent outdoors is advised during the hot summer days. Resting in places with air conditioning to cool down is highly recommended. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), exposure to air conditioning for a few hours a day can lessen the risk for heat-related illnesses.

An air conditioner like Midea Genesis White Inverter split type model can help keep heat stroke at bay with its quality performance and technology. In addition to effective cooling performance, the model features a Quiet Mode that cancels indoor unit noise and a Bio Filter that makes use of specialized biological enzymes & HEPA filter to eliminate harmful microbes for a healthy indoor air quality.

Worried that you’ll blow up your electric bills with increase used of air conditioning? The Midea Genesis White Inverter model is equipped with the Turbo DC Inverter that switches use between the compressor and the fan and the Eco Mode which automatically adjusts its cooling function to save energy. In fact, an hour of use of this cooling appliance only costs Php 2.96 (for 1Hp) according to Meralco testing.

Heat stroke is a serious problem. Keep your chill by practicing these four steps and enjoy the summer with no worries.

Tips to Fireproof Your Home

Fire incidents are considered as common as the perennial hot summer season in the Philippines. Every year, fire cases all around the country destroy resources and displace families. March once again marks the observance of Fire and Burn Prevention Month to alleviate this country-wide problem.
In 2015, The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) recorded a total of 1,727 fire incidents in March alone. March is considered the hottest month of the year, with the elevated temperature attributed for some of the incidents that occur during its period.
Homes are very prone to fires and the kitchen, specifically, is among the areas that are very susceptible to such accidents. In January and February last year, 70 fires came from unattended cooking stoves while 162 incidents were caused by problems with electrical lines.
With the kitchen being one of the most important areas of a household, making it a safer place should be a top priority for homemakers. Below are some tips to make your kitchen a fireproof place.
  1. Keep your focus
One of the leading reasons behind kitchen fires is neglect. Often, it is easy to get distracted and leave a dish cooking. This kind of neglect causes the most injuries, deaths, and property damage than other roots of home fires.
  1. Keep a fire extinguisher close
A fire extinguisher is necessary in any home. Keep one ready in the kitchen and store it in a place 10 feet away from the stove, in a spot where it is easy to grab. All members of the household should know how to use it in case of emergencies. Note also that all fire extinguishers should always be refilled every six to seven years to function properly.
  1. Keep from storing items on top of the stove
It is easy to be less mindful of your actions while caught in a cooking mood. Refrain from placing things on top of a stovetop since this kind of surface can easily start a flame when it gets in contact with anything flammable. Instead, keep things orderly in cabinets and cupboards.
  1. Make sure your cooking appliances are free from crumbs and scraps
Leftover pieces of food from stovetops, ovens, and toasters can catch fire so make sure to clean these cooking appliances after use. Unplug them from their sockets before cleaning and keep the cables away from water.
  1. Go fireproof
It is nearly impossible to entirely fireproof a kitchen with all the flammable materials in the area. However, while it doesn’t entirely cancel out the probability of a fire, using cooking appliances that are designed for safety can add a layer of protection to this part of the home.
Induction cookers, for example, lessen the risk of fire accidents. The Induction Cookerfrom Midea, one of world’s largest manufacturers of domestic appliances, is a good example of a household partner that values safety as much as efficiency.
The induction cooker removes the risk for burns with its flameless technology. It also protects your home from possible gas leakages.
In addition, this kitchen essential also works faster than an average electric stove as it heats up 25% faster than the latter. It also has an energy-saving Piso Meal feature which uses up 1Php worth of electricity for every 4 minutes of cooking or heating.
Make your kitchen safe the whole year round with these nifty tips. A little precaution and awareness can go a long way when it comes to preserving the harmony in the household.

The benefits of taking a shower with warm water

Having a warm shower after a long day is one of life’s simplest luxuries. There is something calming about taking your time standing under the flow of warm water.

But did you know that there is more to showers than just washing away impurities and relaxing tired muscles? Other than being a regular part of our daily hygiene, taking warm showers can actually be considered a healthy routine. Here are four health benefits that will convince you to stay longer in the bathroom.

1. They are effective pick-me-uppers - Studies have proven that there is a science behind the calming qualities of warm showers. Showering with warm water helps with the production of oxytocin in the body, which is also dubbed as the love or bliss hormone due to its calming effect on behavior. So the next time you need fast relief from stress, run yourself a warm shower.

2. They help detoxify the body - Warm showers offer more than just stress relief. Evidence shows that this simple routine can help detoxify the body as well. The steam from hot showers opens pores and induces sweating, which then triggers the release of toxins.

3. They are an instant solution to a cold - Need instant relief for a cold? Hot showers are also an easy solution. Steam aids in moisturizing nasal passages which help with decongestion.

4. They give you better zzz’s - Warm showers also induce better sleep. Not only are they a treat in cold weather, they also trigger body temperature changes that promote better rest. Taking a shower with warm water before bedtime raises the body’s temperature, after which it will gradually lower once exposed to cooler air. This shift triggers the body to produce melatonin, which then cues the body to feel sleepy.

Taking warm showers are definitely a quick and easy option to enjoy these health benefits. For some though, the challenge lies in the very simple act of heating water. This shouldn’t be the case, especially with modern home technology taking the need for manual water heating out of the picture.

Global home appliance manufacturer Midea makes this easy with its line of water heaters that promise quick and safe heating without ballooning electric bills. Available in four models (Basic Single Point, Single Point with Pump, Single Point without Pump and Multi Point), this home necessity answers all the common water heating problems of households.

Midea’s Water Heaters are equipped with safety sensors to ensure that they do not overheat, cause scalding and accidental electric shocks. They are also designed to be energy efficient, with a 10-minute shower costing a very affordable 8php in your power bill.

The Midea Water Heaters also promise instant and accurate heating performance through its advanced heating technology. No need for clueless estimates and long waiting times for the water to warm up; these units provide instant relief in seconds.

As simple as this daily routine is, it does provide grand benefits for the health and overall well-being. Just find the right home partner that can help you get the best out of your usual home showers.

New Wave of Cooking with Midea

Every woman, especially those who are married, dreams of having an awesome kitchen. Well, it might not be the most favorite place of many ladies but if they want to impress their husband, the best way to a man's heart is though his stomach.

Now here's a good news to those who are planning to upgrade their kitchen as world class brand Midea brings a new twist to your kitchen appliances! Its line of microwave ovens, induction cookers, digital multi-cookers and electric kettles is sure to make any homemaker’s life a lot easier without burning a hole in your pocket. Energy efficiency, solid performance and compact designs make these essential additions in any start-up household.

The products were presented during a bloggers event hosted by Midea Philippines at Marmalade Kitchen at BGC, Taguig City last night. Celebrity Chef Rob Pengson was there to do some cooking demo using the awesome Midea home appliances.

Microwave Ovens. Studies show that the use of microwave ovens in the Philippines is very low. This is mainly because of the common misconception that a microwave oven uses up a lot of electricity but a Midea Microwave Oven uses power efficiently that you only spend P1 in electricity per three-minute cooking time. Because of the way Midea Microwave Ovens work, you can cook faster and more efficiently. Contrary to popular misconceptions that microwave ovens zap food nutrition, Midea Microwave Oven promises a better retention of nutrients because of the short cooking time.

Digital Multi-Cookers. Rice cookers have evolved through the years into multi-cookers that are versatile to cook a number of dishes. Midea’s Digital Multi-Cookers are equipped with Thermal Circulation Technology, which ensures even heating in the cooking pot for perfectly cooked rice. In case you add too much water, its smart fuzzy logic control automatically adjusts the temperature and cooking time of rice. The honeycomb texture of the pot also allows it to retain heat efficiently, ensuring your rice is cooked evenly and thoroughly. These digital multi-cookers come with a number of presets that take the guesswork out of cooking. Just press a button, and you get perfectly cooked dishes in a matter of minutes. Aside from cooking rice, you can also use it to cook congee and stews, steam seafood, rice cakes and vegetables, make soup, and boil eggs.

Midea’s Multi-Cookers come in two models. One model can even double as a pressure cooker. With it, you can cook the toughest cuts of meat until they are tender in a short time. Midea’s Multi-Cooker/Pressure Cooker have a 10-Dimensional Protection System and self-locking lid with auto/manual release function that ensure safety during cooking.

Induction Cooker. Midea’s Induction Cooker is a space-saving alternative to a gas range. Its slim design and sturdy construction make it a fitting addition to any kitchen. An induction cooker is more economical than gas range, and uses 37% less power than an electric stove. It cooks 40 percent quicker than an electric stove due to dual-coil technology that makes it heat up faster. It is safe to use around children because of its flameless heating and an auto shut-off feature.

Electric Kettle. Midea’s Electric Kettle is one of the safest kettles in the market. It has a number of built-in features that make boiling water not only economical, but also safe. In just three minutes, Midea’s Electric Kettle can boil water. It also has lower power consumption than other electric kettles. Midea’s Electric Kettle comes with double wall technology that prevents its exterior from heating, as well as keeping boiled water warm for a longer time. With its patented UK Strix control that ensures against dry boiling and protection from overheating, you and your family are safe from electric shocks, injuries or fire.

It also has integrated cord storage for safety and convenience. When not in use, you can easily wind the cord under the kettle to keep it away from accidents.

True to their commitment of enriching the different lifestyles of people, Midea lets you experience the same quality of innovative appliances but at a reasonable price.

Indeed, live different, choose different.
