Acer today announced the new Liquid Jade Primo, a 5.5-inch premium smartphone running Windows 10 Mobile. The Liquid Jade Primo provides ultimate productivity for professionals through Continuum, allowing Windows 10 universal apps to provide a PC-like experience when the smartphone is connected with a secondary display. 

Award-winning Sleek Design

The Acer Liquid Jade Primo features Acer’s award-winning Liquid Jade design language with a sleek and slim profile, curved back cover that fits comfortably in the hand and ergonomic 2.5D Corning® Gorilla® Glass screen. The rear and front covers feature a fine hairline-brushed finish, while a sharp diamond-cut band wraps the chassis and gives the smartphone an even more polished look. The cohesive circular-shaped receiver, rear camera, and speaker inherited from the Jade family add a touch of elegance.

Multitasking Multiplied

Acer announces six new Liquid smartphones; four running Android 5.1 and two with Windows 10. The handsets feature sleek, curved chassis with upgraded front-facing cameras, wide-angle lenses and enhanced audio.

All Acer Liquid smartphones announced today share several features that improve the overall enjoyment of the technology in consumers’ hands, whether it’s watching movies, snapping selfies, or listening to music. Innovations such as Acer BluelightShield™ ² which controls users’ exposure of blue light from the screen and DTS Studio Sound™ ² gives high-quality audio performance for music and movies. Phone fans will appreciate exposure control which allows adjustment of exposure and focus independently to get clear and bright shots, and Bright Magic photo that ensures selfies are always presented in the best lighting conditions.

Other user features through the range include the Acer QuickMode² user interface which provides three customized layout options designed for specific groups of users – Standard Mode for those familiar with a smartphones; Easy Mode for those who are just learning; and Basic Mode that offers a range of protective options for kids. Portal East offers no less than quality

And yes, even doors and windows, Engr. Tan says, were also considered in terms of providing additional security and safety to unit buyers. It is important, he said, that windows and doors are durable and secure and yet be able to contribute to aesthetic requirements of a project such as the EDSA Grand Residences.

For this requirement, Engr. Tan said they turned to Portal East, Inc., a company that designs, tests, manufactures and installs quality uPVC windows and doors for new construction, remodeling and placement applications for residential and commercial projects.

It’s what we call ‘picture window’ so we opted to use Portal East windows because we could make them bigger. We are happy that because of their big product portfolio, Portal East was able to meet our requirements for bigger windows,” Engr. Tan explains.

EDSA Grand Residences uses Portal East’s sliding and awning windows while for their door requirements, Engr. Tan said they used Portal East’s swing and sliding doors. Engr. Tan also took note of Portal East’s after-sales service, which he gave a rating of “9 out of a possible 10.” Of course they are not perfect; nobody is but we felt their responsiveness, their readiness to provide solutions whenever we have problems with their products, which seldom happens.”
